Women Platform to be applied for the industrial economy of Busokelo.

Posted on: March 8th, 2018

These instructions have been given by the Rungwe District Commissioner, Hon. Julius Chalya during the launch of the women empowerment Forum of Busokelo District Council. The inauguration of the Forum was to coincide with international women's day with the theme of "Towards the Industrial Economy, Strengthening gender equality and Empowerment of women in rural areas".

He stressed that women must organize groups which will allow them to acquire loans and  generate products that will increase the value of these products.

The Government has vowed to bring a fifty million for each village but didn't mean it will bring money for everyone but instead money is coming to the people who are prepared, that means to provide loans to the groups and to make production that will increase each other's economy.

These groups have been created to be the knowledge of production assets with productivity, so that they can produce competitive markets and be able to lift the economy. Also integrate with Small Industries Corporation (SIDO) to have reasonable knowledge of production and packaging.

Being grateful to those women who said that they are happy because they now have a platform to be saying things to them, for now they see a way to get the achievement of economic rise is a neighbor and their activities.
